Last week, DigiTimes covered the Asus earnings call and quoted CEO Jerry Shen as saying that the company would offer a $200 netbook in 2009 while at the same time phasing out 7-inch and 8.9-inch displays.
Sizes up, costs down? Huh?

Netbook Battle: Acer Shipments to Beat Asus’s Eee PC

Acer said that shipments of its Aspire One netbooks could reach 6 million units this year.
Do I hear 7 million from anyone? Anyone?
